The Alabama Association of County Agriculture Agents and Specialists (AACAAS) is the Alabama affiliate of the National Association of County Agricultural Agents (NACAA).
Mission of AACAAS The mission of AACAAS since 1948 is and has been to promote a high standard of professional development among its members, to provide a single voice that conveys issues of concern that affect Alabama Agricultural Extension Agents and Specialists, to advance the basic importance and position of Alabama agriculture and other resources in our state economy, and to assist in furthering of the ways and means of improving the effectiveness of cooperative Extension work. Purpose of AACAAS AACAAS is the professional organization extension organization for extension educators and other extension professional focusing on agriculture, food safety, horticulture, forestry and natural resources and 4-H Youth development.
