The 2025 AACAAS AM/PIC was held at the Lodge of Guntersville State Park. Members benefited from two tours. The Orange Tour featured a tour of K Supply Company, a poultry health product supplier, followed by a row crop and agritourism operation with lunch served on site at Cornutt Farms. Ending with an informative session on craft brewing at Main Channel Brewing Company in Albertville, AL. The Blue tour featured a tour of the TVA facilities and the Lake Guntersville Dam. They took in some of the area's natural resources as well as a tour of Guntersville Marine, where they offer inland marine services and customized solutions for blending and bagging bulk goods. Professional development workshops were held on the first day of the conference. Sessions included "Can We Interview You?" - Tips for handling today's media provided by ACES Communications and Marketing Specialist, Mary Wilson, followed by Dr. Rachel Carter discussing how to assess a farm for agritourism, and ending the day with writing thank you notes to the event sponsors.
