 Charles R. Moody, AACAAS Life Member, has been a stalwart in raising scholarship funding for both AACAAS and NACAA
We are pleased to announce that after many years of fundraising and hard work on the part of all members, AACAAS fully endowed the Charles R. Moody Scholarship Fund in 2014. Scholarships are awarded to deserving children and grandchildren of AACAAS members and life members at the annual AACAAS AM/PIC. Funds continue to be added each year through the Charles R. Moody Scholarship Auction also held at the AACAAS AM/PIC. Items in the auction are provided by AACAAS members, Life members and friends of AACAAS.

As Extension professionals, we provide unbiased educational opportunities and information to citizens of Alabama. As we build our body of work during our careers, it is important to allow others to see how our work is being accomplished. Both AACAAS and NACAA provide many opportunities (communication awards, programming awards, and opportunities for poster and oral presentations) for members to showcase their work and be judged by their peers. Career achievements are awarded through the Achievement Award and the Distinguished Service Award.
